How to Verify your Certificate
When Accessing Your PC From a Web Browser
The first thing you'll need is your Certificate
Fingerprint
(or Thumbprint). In MF327, you can find this by typing the word
fingerprints
in the main window, or by clicking the
Quick Start
button and selecting
Remote Access
.

Note
: MF327 uses different certificates depending on how you connect. You'll see a fingerprint for each of them.
You can also open individual certificate files and locate the fingerprint as shown below. Certificates are stored in the app folder under
\users\system\certificates
.
Once you have your fingerprint(s), connect to your PC by typing the URL into your web browser. You should see a security warning because the certificate is not trusted by your browser. This is normal when accessing a
private
computer.

To prove your connection is secure, follow the steps below for your specific web browser.
(Other browsers will have a similar process)

Never bypass security warnings when accessing

websites, such as your bank or email.

Click the red triangle in the address bar

' to the one(s) you found in
Step 1
.
If any are a match, your connection is secure.
Safari
At the security warning, click, '

To verify your connection is secure before logging-in:
